Case Study: Liz Claiborne

Peersuasion is working with Liz Claiborne, DKNY, Dana Buchman and Ellen Tracy on a "Friends & Family" referral campaign to build awareness and drive traffic to retail outlet stores.

The concurrent Peersuasion campaigns feature an easy-to-use coupon-driven "Share the Savings" offer. Users can print the offer for on-site savings, find the outlet store nearest them and share the online coupon with friends.

Working with the Liz Claiborne marketing teams, Peersuasion developed emails and Web pages that facilitate the referral marketing process by making everything intuitive and quick-to-use. The campaign is designed to be initiated by both internal and external audiences, allowing the in-house marketing teams to target their user database for the initial delivery of savings coupons.

Each campaign has succeeded in driving traffic to the outlets, increasing sales and spreading the word about the brands and their outlet presence.

Results:

  • Participation rates significantly higher than projected .
  • Email opens, click-throughs and forwards proved the offer generated interest and action by the initial recipients and referrals.
